A Journey Together
An illustrated wedding invitation inspired by the couple’s own love story. It all began at a bus stop, where they first met - a small moment that eventually led to a life together.
I used this encounter as the starting point for the concept, creating an isometric cityscape where different locations represent important milestones in their relationship.
Each scene tells a small part of their story, from their first meeting and the moments that followed to their wedding day.
The illustration was adapted into a printed wedding invitation, featuring a cool blue colour palette and a custom typographic layout. The design brings together the illustrated cityscape and the practical details of the celebration, turning the couple’s story into a personal keepsake.
